The “kiss” technology allows two computing devices and transfer large files such as movies in just a few seconds with only a touch. Do you think the wireless data transfer technique could be available in a wide range of devices?
Like this below picture, wow, what an amazing feature!
It seems that your phones and laptops will become ever-lighter and thinner because tech manufacturers are trying to get rid of the need for cumbersome and bulky cable connectors inside devices. Obviously, manufacturers are increasingly integrating fewer ports to free up physical space inside their devices. And the wireless solutions do wonders.
However, notably, the wireless technology is prepared to have a great breakthrough.
A company- Keyssa is setting a new standard for the wireless data transfer named “Kiss”. This name derives from one simple action when you want to transfer data- just make two phones kiss each other.
It sounds like a Bluetooth or NFC connection that we are still familiar with. Nevertheless, Kiss technology makes a strong impression with ability of transfer large amounts of data without using wires or Wifi connections in seconds. More importantly, Keyssa promises to equip all devices from smartphones to PCs and TVs with “Kiss”. You can not only transfer files from your device’s memory to another device but also stream live video from your device to your TV, the only thing you need to do is to make them touch each other.
How can we believe this? Well, this technology is probably not ready for a short time yet. However, Samsung and Foxconn jumped in and supported the “Kiss” project so I’m sure that this project will be a new breakthrough.
Samsung and Foxconn will focus mainly on applying this technology to mobile phones. However, Keyssa is also partnering with Intel to develop this feature for 2-in-1 tablets which are available later this year.
